Ireen Amnes hosts the Ableton Producer course for Women, non binary, trans, and queer students. It's a safe and comfortable place to uncover the possibilities of Ableton Live with one of Industrial music's most exciting new artists. 

Take your sound design skills to the next level in Modular Synthesis and Sound Design Tools with RAMP leader Adam Winchester (Dot Product, Osiris Music). Adam will show you a range of exciting open source sound design softwares and engines to transform audio into mind bending sonics, textures, tones, sfx, granulizations, and more. 

Hailing from Detroit, DJ T-1000 aka Alan Oldham returns for another Underground Dance Music course based around Native Instruments Maschine software and hardware. If you know your Detroit Techno history, then you will know that Alan hosted the only radio show to play exclusively electronic music and Techno in the late 80's, which was a pivotal part of pushing the scene. He also DJ'd as part of Underground Resistance, created artworks for legendary labels such as Transmat, and released music on Tresor, Djax-up Beats, and his own imprint Pure Sonic. If you're interested in taking your music to the live domain then our Live Electronic Performance course is for you. Hosted by Second Storey (Houndstooth records, Hercules and Love Affair), this 8 week course will show you how to translate your music into a live performance. Using hardware, software, live or bespoke instruments, you will build a template and workflow to suit you, your genre, and your creative expression. The course culminates in a live online performance in front of an invited audience. 

We are also running Ableton Crash Courses that take place over Saturday and Sunday on specific weekends in October and November this year. So if you want to get into Ableton but need some pointers and guidance, then this course will quickly get you started on your musical journey. You will cover all the basics, including settings & preferences, layout & views, MIDI & Drum Programming, Audio & Sampling, Synthesis and Instruments, FX and Processing, Automation, Arrangement, Bouncing and Finishing.

 "...it's escapism from my own reality..." Growing up in the 80s & 90s in a small town in the South West of England, with very little to do, and with a fairly lazy attitude to physical activity, much of my youth was spent in front of the TV. Hanging out with mates and watching movies was our thing, talking about movies, reading about movies, arguing about movies, watching movies about movies. Persuading an older sibling to rent us 18 certificate films from the video shop, and staying up all night watching them whilst gorging on microwave popcorn and sweets. Buzzing off the sugar, the mild delirium of over tiredness, and the sheer joy of watching these illicit films in a back to back marathon.
